Ed Richards’ interesting comments on the umpiring after the loss to Collingwood

Footscray midfielder Ed Richards had some interesting things to say about the umpiring after the narrow loss to Collingwood on Friday night.

The Magpies won the free kick count 33-14, and Richards said it was noticeable out on the field.

“I’m always one to say put the whistle away, you don’t have to get yourself involved too much if you’re an umpire,” Richards told 3AW Football’s Laura Spurway post-game.
