‘Embarrassing’: Jimmy Bartel and Tony Shaw weigh in on the concept of a wildcard round

Jimmy Bartel and Tony Shaw have weighed in on the concept of a wildcard round being introduced in the AFL.

Bartel thinks the idea of an interstate wildcard round in particular where 7th plays 10th and 8th plays 9th to determine the last two teams in the finals series is “embarrassing”.

“It is a joke,” Shaw said.
