‘Embarrassing’: Sam McClure slams the AFL’s decision on grand final start time

Sam McClure has called out the AFL for keeping the start of the grand final at the traditional time slot of 2:30pm, labelling it “completely embarrassing”.

The AFL Commission confirmed the news during the week, but McClure thinks “we need to wake up to ourselves”.

“We have to be consistent with wanting to show our great sport to as many people as possible,” McClure said on Wide World of Sports.
