Carlton is making a final bid to get the two-game suspension handed to Patrick Cripps overturned.

They’ve appealed the tribunal’s decision to uphold the ban, with the hearing set down for 6pm on Thursday night.

Sam McClure said on 3AW there were four ways the Blues could be successful.

Richmond great Matthew Richardson said he couldn’t see the ban being overturned, but it was worth a try.

“Why wouldn’t you have a crack? It’s season on the line stuff,” Richardson said.
