‘Far from being feasible’: Business leader slams ‘outlandish’ claim from the public sector union
The Community and Public Sector Union (CPSU) have launched their claim for public servants to get a 20 per cent pay rise over the next four years, and pilot a four day work week under a new enterprise agreement.
Victorian head of the Australian Industry Group, Tim Piper, slammed the claim, labelling it “outlandish” and “far from being feasible”.
“At the moment, I don’t think anybody would think that these are reasonable claims that are being made,” Mr Piper told Heidi Murphy, filling in for Tom Elliott.
