Neil Mitchell has uncovered another case of shocking road rage on Melbourne roads.

Video obtained by 3AW shows an unknown weapon was produced when the brawl broke out on Dynon Road.

3AW Mornings believes it happened on Friday afternoon.

The video shows two cars stopped in the middle of the road.

Three people are outside the cars when one man produced a long item – possibly a large stick or umbrella – that he uses to belt another man.

In statement to 3AW, police say a witness called 000.

“A Triple Zero call was made following reports of an assault between two men on Dynon Road about 1.50pm,” the statement read.

“Upon police arrival, both parties had left the scene. No formal complaints have been made to police.

“Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”

It’s the latest in a string of concerning road rage incidents around Melbourne in recent days.

William the truck driver, the victim of the violent incident in Port Melbourne last week, told Neil Mitchell he’s still shaken up.

“They gave it to the police as well,” William said.

“I was fearing for my life, I’m not 100 per cent sure I want to get back on the road.

“The damage so far is up to $18,000.

“Windscreen, driver’s side window, passenger’s side window, mirrors, damage to the cabin.”
