Former footballer’s thoughts on players support of Simon Goodwin

Ex-premiership player and media personality, Will Schofield, highlighted the ‘interesting’ circumstances that set apart the dismissal of former Melbourne coach Simon Goodwin.

On Tuesday, senior players shared their thoughts with the media, with many claiming Goodwin still had the support of the players.

“He was still very well-liked within the locker room … I don’t know if you see that too often these days,” he said on Wide World of Sports.
