Man who chased down Frankston car wash carjacker speaks out

A good samaritan who chased down the alleged offender of a Frankston carjacking on Thursday has spoken out, saying he was surprised how relaxed the man was.

Ryan noticed what was taking place and immediately followed the alleged attacker until police arrived, and also comforted the victim after the incident.

“(The alleged offender) just casually walked along like nothing had happened,” he said on 3AW Mornings.

“Once I saw the incident, I got in my car and followed him.”
