Matthew Lloyd has slammed the Bulldogs’ perpetually changing set-up.

“Next week, I wouldn’t know how they’ll set up,” Lloyd said.

“I don’t know who will be their ruckman, I don’t know who will be their key forwards.

“(Luke Beveridge) loves to throw players around.”

FULL TIME

Collingwood has kicked away to a 35-point win.

The Pies kept their opposition goalless after half time as they put the foot down.

Brodie Grundy dominated the game in the ruck, while Tom Phillips (36 touches, one goal) won the Rose-Sutton Medal.

Magpie legend Tony Shaw said the Pies are building something special.

“Phillips is getting under the guard, Pendlebury’s playing some of the best football he’s every played,” Shaw said after the game.

“Sidebottom is an out-and-out star, Crisp is doing well.

“I think Nathan Buckley would be quietly rubbing his hands together.”

HALF TIME

The Bulldogs have come out firing and lead by 18 points.

The Dogs went on a five-goal run in the first quarter that put them in a commanding position.

Jordan Roughead and Tory Dickson both have two majors.

=====

Magpie star Scott Pendlebury will play his 261st game as a Magpie – overtaking his coach in 7th place on the club’s games record list.

Nathan Buckley played 260 games for Collingwood after playing 20 at Brisbane in his first year.

Magpie midfielder Steele Sidebottom told 3AW he feels “lucky” to have played alongside Pendlebury.

“He makes the play stand still at times,” Sidebottom said.

“He’s someone I love running alongside each week.

“The amount of work he puts in… it’s no surprise he’s such a good player.”

THE BUILD-UP

It’s all on the line for two teams desperate to keep touch with the Top 8.

Neither the Pies (10th) nor the Dogs (13th) can afford many more slip-ups as the season reaches its midpoint.

Collingwood youngster Josh Daicos comes in for his third career game, along with Ben Reid and Levi Greenwood.

The Dogs have brought Josh Schache in for his first game in red, white, and blue, while Roarke Smith will play his first game since August 2016.
