DROPPING DANIHER?
Matthew Lloyd thinks the Bombers should consider dropping Joe Daniher.
Daniher has been well out of form early in 2018, booting just eight goals from the first seven games.
A caller asked Lloydy if Daniher should spend time in the VFL to recover his form, and for the former Bomber forward was open to the idea.
“He does need a circuit-breaker,” he said.
“He’s just playing the same game week after week.”

Lloydy said the Bombers need to take some time to reflect.
“They’ve got to assess the way they’re playing,” he said.
“They’re not playing football that’s going to win games.”

HALF TIME
Essendon is leading by seven points at the main change.
Leigh Matthews noted the Bombers have been using the handball prolifically.
The Dons have had more handballs (111) than kicks (108).
“It’s a bit of Russian Roulette football,” he said.
Lethal and Lloydy said Tom Bellchambers is probably the best player on the field so far.
Lloydy: “Bellchambers is out of contract.”
Tony: “He won’t be by 6pm if he keeps playing like this!”#AFLDonsHawks

VERY LATE CHANGE
Hawthorn has made a second late change, just before the bounce.
Will Langford (back spasms) is replaced by Brendan Whitecross.
=====
Hawthorn assistant Brett Ratten told 3AW Football the club doesn’t want James Sicily to change too much.
“His greatest strength is his greatest weakness,” Ratten said.
“We want him to play on edge, with authority.
“He’s learning he’s gone across the line a couple of times and he needs to taper that – by only a few per cent.”
