Jack Gunston booted five goals in a key attacking role for the Hawks.
Gunston made his name as a forward, but has spent a lot of time roaming the half-back line in the last 18 months.
He told 3AW Football he doesn’t know where he’ll play from one week to the next.
Tim Lane: Are you a forward for life now?
Gunston: I’d like to say so!
“I just go week to week,” he said.
“I’m in the dark as much as you!”

FULL TIME
Hawthorn has won an epic by four points.
In a game of wide momentum swings, it was the Hawks who finished with their noses in front.
Travis Colyer gave the Bombers a glimmer of hope with a goal in the dying seconds, but the Hawks stood firm.
Tim Lane: “What a titanic contest it was. They both drew lines in the sand.” #AFLHawksDons

LATE CHANGES
Essendon has made two late changes today.
Matt Guelfi (ill) and Matt Dea have been withdrawn, with Ben McNiece and Travis Colyer coming into the 22.
Dea was concussed last week against Sydney, but the Bombers say he passed all protocols in that regard.
Hawthorn is unchanged.
