FULL TIME

Geelong has joined Port Adelaide on 3-2 with a convincing 34-point win at Adelaide Oval.

George Horlin-Smith was included just minutes before the game, but booted two goals from 26 disposals in a starring performance.

=====

HALF TIME

Geelong leads by nine points after a spicy opening half.

Late inclusion Lindsay Thomas kicked his first goal for the Power, but then got himself in trouble for a bump on Scott Selwood.

Warren Tredrea said Thomas is staring at a suspension.

“He’s gone the body, and he got it wrong,” Tredders said.

Selwood was escorted off the ground and did not return.
