FULL TIME

Adelaide has overcome its injury crisis to record an emphatic 10-point win at the SCG.

Already missing Rory Sloane, David Mackay, and two Crouches, the Crows then lost defender Kyle Hartigan to a hamstring injury in the first quarter on Friday night.

Despite this, Adelaide’s engine room comprehensively beat Sydney’s star-studded midfield.

More to come…

HALF TIME

Adelaide is making a statement at the SCG tonight.

The Crows burst out of the blocks and only wayward kicking in front of goal has kept their lead to 16 points.

Jimmy Bartel said he is surprised the Crows have already had 32 inside 50s.

“That’s not the way the Swans usually play,” Jimmy said.

THE BUILD-UP

The Crows’ midfield is decimated.

Already missing the Crouch brothers, star on-baller Rory Sloane has now succumbed to a foot injury and David Mackay will also miss due to concussion.

It couldn’t come at a worse time, either, up against the star-studded Swans engine room on Friday night.

Can the Crows dig deep for a gutsy away win? Or will the Swans roll on to 4-1?
