FULL TIME

Hawthorn has earned a double chance, beating Sydney by nine points.

The Hawks came from 26 points down in the second term to overrun the home side in the second half.

Daniel Harford named Sydney midfielder George Hewett the best player on the field.

Hewett won 24 touches, including 19 contested possessions, but also did a key negating role on Hawk stars Tom Mitchell and Jaeger O’Meara.

“He had 12 clearances against the best clearances player in the competition,” Harf said.

HALF TIME

No Buddy? No Parker? No worries!

Sydney leads by 19 points at the main break.

After an even start, the Swans controlled the second term, booting the first four goals.

Jake Lloyd (15 disposals) is controlling the back half, while George Hewett has done a great job to keep dangerous ball-winner Tom Mitchell to just nine disposals.

=====

LATE CHANGES

Sydney has made two massive late changes tonight.

Lance Franklin and Luke Parker (both groin) are out of the game.

Jordan Dawson and Robbie Fox come into the 22.

Hawthorn is unchanged.

THE BUILD-UP

The stakes could scarcely be higher tonight.

The winner is guaranteed a Top 4 finish, it’s as simple as that.

And when these two sides meet, it’s almost always a cracker!
