Geelong GM Simon Lloyd confirms interest in becoming CEO of an AFL club

Geelong General Manager of Football Simon Lloyd has confirmed he’s interested in becoming a CEO of an AFL club “further down the track”.

Lloyd stated his focus is still heavily on Geelong, but praised Geelong CEO Steve Hocking and the executive team for constantly making sure he can build his “capabilities in other areas”.

Lloyd also touched on the influence of Zach Tuohy at the club, Esava Ratugolea’s inclusion back in the senior lineup and Patrick Dangerfield’s recovery from a collapsed lung.
