Geelong’s upcoming fixtures are making Cameron Ling nervous

Cameron Ling is getting anxious about Geelong’s finals chances.

The Cats are clinging to eighth spot on the ladder, and could be out of the eight entirely if results don’t go their way on Sunday.

Geelong’s next five games include a few tough opponents and road trips:

• Round 16: Sydney (SCG)
• Round 17: Adelaide (Adelaide Oval)
• Round 18: Melbourne (GMHBA Stadium)
• Round 19: Brisbane (GMHBA Stadium)
• Round 20: Richmond (MCG)
• Round 21: Hawthorn (MCG)

Lingy told 3AW Football he still thinks his beloved Cats will make the finals.

“But I say that slightly less confidently than I did a couple of weeks ago,” he said.
