Gerard Healy hits out at local footy suspension, says it’s not enough

Footage of yet another shocking on field act of local footy thuggery has left Gerard Healy calling for action.

The video emerged following the clash between Parkdale vs Monash Blues earlier this month.

The perpetrator was handed a four-game suspension.

“It’s not enough, by a long way,” Gerard Healy said on 3AW.

The Sportsday host said there was a new standard when it came to punches on the football field following the 14-game ban handed to Ali Fahour earlier in the year, an incident that cost him his job with the AFL.
