Gerard Healy slaps down suggestions star Eagle is overpaid

Gerard Healy has slapped down suggestions Jeremy McGovern is being paid too much by West Coast.

Matthew Lloyd agrees he’s worth every cent the Eagles are paying him.

McGovern kicked the winner after the siren against Port Adelaide on Saturday.

“I continually hear the money he’s earning questioned,” Healy said on Monday.

“If you’re not convinced that Jeremy McGovern is in the top 10 players, if not top five players in the game, then I’m not sure you’re watching the same games I’m watching.”
