Gerard’s praise for Eagles defender and the move Lloydy would “love” to know more about

Gerard Healy has praised the performance of West Coast defender Will Schofield in the grand final.

Gerard, Matthew Lloyd and Dwayne Russell reviewed the decider on Monday night.

“He played the game of his life,” Gerard said of Schofield.

“It was sensational.”

Lloydy said he’d love to know who came up with the idea to tag Collingwood star Brodie Grundy, a week after the Eagles had similar success against Melbourne big man Max Gawn.

“I’d love to know who it was that came up with that,” he said.
