Glenn Archer’s pointed advice for current day North Melbourne players

Glenn Archer says North Melbourne needs players who have “genuine hatred for losing” as they look to future success at the club.

Archer, who is widely regarded as one of North Melbourne’s greatest ever players, told Wide World of Sports he wants to see current-day Roos players bringing a win-at-all-costs mentality as they celebrate their centenary on Thursday night.

“You can have all the talent in the world,” he said on 3AW.

“But unless you bring some grit and genuine hatred for losing, you won’t go anywhere.”

Archer also shared his thoughts on how is son – and currently-listed Roo Jackson – is going in his fourth year at the club.
