Grand Final at the MCG a disadvantage to interstate sides
Following Adelaide’s comfortable win over Richmond last night, Matthew Lloyd thinks the Crows would’ve won the Grand Final if it was played at the Adelaide Oval.
“They are a six goal better side in Adelaide,” Matthew Lloyd said.
Lloyd says interstate sides are at a disadvantage when it comes to the Grand Final always being at the MCG.
“The last five years, an interstate side has lost the Grand Final, when some have been higher rank come the end of the year.
“I wish if it wasn’t all about money and getting more fans in to watch games, we could have where it falls on fairness.”
Tony Shaw’s response: “Stiff Cheddar.”
