GWS CEO whacks St Kilda over their ‘narrow-minded’ thoughts on NSW and QLD academies

Both St Kilda President Andrew Basatt and coach Ross Lyon have vented their frustation about the New South Wales and Queensland academies.

Saints officials have called for a draft reform and GWS CEO Dave Matthews has said the “narrow-minded” discussion around the academies is “laughable.”

“The people to begrudge Gold Coast having some success after all this time, it’s pretty mean-spirited,” Matthews said on 3AW Football.
