GWS chief responds to NRL link

GWS chief Dave Matthews has been left bemused after his named was linked with the now vacant NRL chief executive position, following Todd Greenberg’s departure from the role.

“It hasn’t, has it?” Matthews said on Sportsday.

“To be honest, I don’t even know the rules.

“I’m more than happy doing what we’re doing with the Giants.”
