‘Halted the momentum of the season’: Caroline Wilson questions the AFL’s round eight fixture

The round eight fixture has been a topic of conversation amongst the footy community, but not for the right reasons.

Caroline Wilson has spoken about the lacklustre prime time matches to begin round eight and has said the fixturing of this round has “halted the momentum” of the season.

“When Channel 7, the AFL, and Fox Footy were doing this fixture, this was the round that caused the most consternation,” Wilson said on 3AW Football.
