Hannebery deal appears imminent, according to newsbreaker

St.Kilda could confirm the signing of Swans midfielder Dan Hannebery “as soon as tomorrow”, according to newsbreaker Mitch Cleary.

The 27-year-old nominated the Saints in September and Cleary told Trade Wrap the deal is imminent.

“The Swans are in town to potentially do the paperwork tomorrow morning,” he said.

“Watch this space on Hannebery and it feels about right that (pick 39) because as much as Sydney want a pick in return, they are happy for his money to be off their books.

Jarrad Waite said the deal was a “win-win situation” for both parties.

“(St.Kilda) need a player like Hannebery,” he said.
