Hawks coach Sam Mitchell provides update on Will Day and talks recent James Sicily controversy

Hawthorn Football coach, Sam Mitchell, has revealed he has full confidence when it comes to Hawks captain James Sicily after the AFL tribunal handed the player a fine after an incident during their round one match on Saturday.

“He’s going to continue to lead really well, and this will be something we put behind us pretty quickly,” he told Sam McClure and Matthew Richardson.

He also revealed Will Day’s injury is healing as they hoped.

“Basically every two weeks they do a scan,” he said.
