Hawthorn president hits back at ‘offensive’ tanking claims

New Hawthorn president Andy Gowers has shot back at suggestions the Hawks are “tanking” this season.

Speaking with 3AW Football, Gowers did not hold back when posed with hard questions about the Hawks strategy by Caroline Wilson, Leigh Matthews, Jimmy Bartel and Tim Lane.

He also explained why the club moved on Tom Mitchell.
