Hawthorn president reacts to prospect of sanctions over racism investigation

Hawthorn president Andy Gowers says he would be “very disappointed” if the Hawks were handed any penalties for their part in the investigation on allegations of racism at the club.

“We went into this process with the best of intentions, where we are now obviously is far from optimal,” he told 3AW Football on Saturday.
