How Bronwyn Gulden deals with coaching AFLW while supporting son Errol

Aussie Rules has long been a family affair for the Guldens, with Bronwyn part of the Sydney Swans AFLW coaching team and her son Errol a gun midfielder at the same club.

Both can now chalk All-Australian next to their names after Bronwyn was recently named the All-Australian coach of the U16 girls team, following a successful campaign at the Marsh AFL National Development Championships.

Gulden spoke to 3AW Football’s Laura Spurway about Errol’s recovery and whether she leans into coaching the 22-year-old.

“It’s very easy to take my coach’s hat off and put my mum hat on,” she said.
