The expected dates Victoria will reach vaccine milestones have come forward again.

According to COVID Live, a website tracking Australia’s pandemic statistics, Victoria will hit 70 per cent double-dose vaccination of people aged 16 and above on October 23.

The state is expected to reach 80 per cent double-dose vaccination on November 3.

Data analyst Anthony Macali, who runs COVID Live, says those dates may come forward further.

“The second dose rate has been increasing, so the days have come in a little bit,” he told Neil Mitchell.

“If the rate keeps increasing as it is now we could get close to 60,000, maybe 65,000 second doses a day.

“That might bring in the dates by about two or three days.”
