Inspirational nine-year-old sets up Good Friday Appeal cake stall for the third year running
Checking in with inspirational Katie Stubbs has become a 3AW Mornings Good Friday Appeal tradition!
Nine-year-old Katie, who has neurofibromatosis — an incurable condition where a person lacks the gene that suppresses tumors, so every nerve ending has the possibility of developing a tumour — decided to start selling cakes at her local park to raise funds for the Good Friday Appeal in 2021.
It was such a success that it’s become an annual event!
