New Sydney recruit Taylor Adams has explained how his shock move away from Collingwood played out at the end of the 2023 AFL season.

Adams is preparing for his first season as a Swan after 175 games for the Pies in nine years, telling 3AW why he ultimately decides to seek a move elsewhere.

“I had a few conversations back and forth with (football boss) Graham Wright and (coach) Craig McRae (after the Grand Final) and I just didn’t get the feeling my future was best suited to Collingwood,” he told Sam McClure on Wide World of Sports.
