‘It’s about time’: AMP Chief Economist reacts to RBA’s latest interest rate cut

The Reserve Bank of Australia has announced their third interest rate cut of 2025, cutting the cash rate by 25 basis points.

AMP Chief Economist Shane Oliver joined Money News, weighed in on the latest interest rate cuts and said “it’s about time”.

“They had little choice but to cut,” Oliver said on Money News.
