Tom Elliott has taken exception to concussion expert Dr Alan Pearce’s idea on 3AW’s Wide World of Sports last night, suggesting no tackling be in place for kids under the age of 14 playing football.

Dr Pearce is opting for a “touch” version of football instead of tackling, a concept which the 3AW Mornings host finds “counterproductive”.

“No tackling in junior footy, I think it’s rubbish,” Elliott said.
