‘It’s speculation’: Brendon Gale breaks silence on links to Tasmania CEO role

Brendon Gale has broken his silence on links to the Tasmania CEO role, saying he’s edging towards the end of his time at Richmond.

Caroline Wilson reported last week that Gale is set to depart Richmond at the end of the season, having been at the Tigers as CEO since 2009.

“It’s speculation,” he told 3AW Football.

“But I’ve been in the job 15 years so they’ll be a time where it’s right by the club and by me where Richmond will need new leadership and a new direction.

“It’s probably fair to say I’m closer to the end of my tenure than the beginning.”
