Izak Rankine’s alleged slur could ‘seriously dent’ Adelaide’s premiership hopes
Adelaide Crows superstar Izak Rankine is under investigation over an alleged homophobic slur directed at an opposition player during Saturday night’s clash against Collingwood.
If Rankine is found guilty, he is likely to miss the remainder of the season, including the upcoming finals campaign and Channel Nine’s Tony Jones says this will “seriously dent” Adelaide’s premierships aspirations.
“It’s a real concern for Adelaide,” Jones said on 3AW Mornings.
