Jennifer Keyte is leaving Seven News to join Network Ten to present the nightly news bulletin.

Keyte worked for Ten in the 1980s and has been presenting the weekend news bulletin on the Seven Network since 2003.

In a statement, Keyte said she was looking forward to her new role.

“I am thrilled to be joining the team to present TEN Eyewitness News First At Five in Melbourne. Returning to Ten, the launching pad of my career in television/broadcast journalism, is both exciting and sentimental,” she said.

“I am really looking forward to coming home and being part of the team again.”

It’s unclear what role Stephen Quartermain will have at the network.
