Jeremy Cameron knew his teammate Patrick Dangerfield was “in the zone” early on in Friday night’s prelim.

Veteran Dangerfield went to another level in Geelong’s win over Hawthorn, kicking three goals and having 32 disposals on Friday night.

“We just prep him all year for moments like this,” he said on 3AW Football post-match.

“I tried to talk to him about five times, and he was staring right through me – I knew he was in the zone. When he’s in that mood, you just let him go.”
