Jimmy Bartel and Matthew Lloyd break down the rising star race

With six rounds left in the home and away season, Jimmy Bartel and Matthew Lloyd have shared their thoughts on which young player will be awarded the Rising Star.

The race is tight with Bartel and Lloyd believing five players are worthy of being crowned rising star at season’s end.

“It’s all in what you hold value in as a footballer,” Bartel said on 3AW Football.

“There are lots of touches from Levi Ashcroft, or do you value the key position stocks where they take five or six years to hold down a spot?”
