Jimmy Bartel explains decision to leave the GWS Giants as footy director

Jimmy Bartel has commented on his decision to leave the GWS Giants as footy director at the end of the season.

Bartel has been on the board since 2018 and stated on 3AW he feels like the club is in a “great place”.

“I’m not going to deny it, it’s true,” he said.
