Jimmy Bartel LAUNCHES at clubs starting debutants as sub

On Thursday night, Carlton’s mid-season draftee Flynn Young made his debut, however it was as the substitute and he entered the game in the second half.

Wide World of Sports host Jimmy Bartel has slammed clubs who start debutants as the sub which many of the football community agree with.

“If he’s good enough to make it in the 23, he’s probably good enough to make it in the 22,” Bartel said on Wide World of Sports.
