Jimmy Bartel’s proud ‘big brother’ moment

Jimmy Bartel admits he felt a sense of pride about former teammate Joel Selwood on Saturday.

And not just because Selwood became a premiership captain.

Selwood has won plaudits for the way he conducted himself before, during and after the Cats won the premiership.

“It was great to see the world get to see what we all see as teammates and people down at Geelong,” Jimmy told Neil Mitchell.

“None of that is manufactured – that is him, day in, day out.”
