Jimmy Bartel’s two suggestions for the AFL as new fixture idea comes to light

Jimmy Bartel has given his two suggestions for the AFL, after the idea of a ‘mid-season tournament’ has been floated as a potential inclusion to the fixture moving forward.

The story was first broken by Sam McClure in The Age, and the Geelong great isn’t quite on board with the concept at the moment.

“As far as my shopping list, it’s down the order,” Bartel said on 3AW Breakfast.
