Joel Bowden and Matthew Richardson go head-to-head on NT AFL team

Matthew Richardson and Northern Territory politician – and former teammate – Joel Bowden have gone head-to-head on the prospect of a NT team in the AFL.

The pair have exchanged light-hearted barbs in the media this week on whether a team in Darwin would be a viable option as the competition’s 20th licence.

“You weren’t briefed properly on what I said,” Richo said on 3AW.
