Despite a lacklustre match on Thursday night between Essendon and North Melbourne, there was controversy in the final quarter of the close finish.

Joel Selwood and Jimmy Bartel spoke about a big moment in the final term of Thursday night’s clash, where it appeared North Melbourne were given a free kick only to have it taken away.

“I’m unsure on what actually happened,” Selwood said on 3AW Football.
