Joel Selwood and Tony Shaw comment on Elijah Hollands situation

Joel Selwood and Tony Shaw have commented on the situation surrounding Carlton’s Elijah Hollands from Thursday night’s match.

Hollands’ on-field behaviour was a big talking point after the match, with the Blues releasing a statement on Friday afternoon putting it down to a mental health episode.

“If we’re to blame anyone, I think it’s just a little unfair,” Selwood said on Wide World of Sports.

“This is bigger than football now for him as an individual,” Shaw said.

“I don’t think he should play until all research has been done for his own health.”
