John Longmire brushes off concerns about game delay if and when Buddy reaches milestone

John Longmire isn’t spending any time worrying about what to do with his players if and when Lance Franklin kicks goal 1000.

It’s all but certain fans will flock onto the ground when the milestone is reached, likely leading to a lengthy delay in play.

But speaking on 3AW, Longmire said he wasn’t overly worried about how he’d keep his players focused during that break.

“It will happen when it happens,” he said.

“From our perspective, there are other things to focus on.”
