‘Killer instinct’: Kevin Sheedy’s fresh comments on James Hird

Essendon coaching great Kevin Sheedy has doubled down on his support for club legend James Hird to return as head coach.

Sheedy admitted it’s a “difficult and awkward” situation for the club, but he’s a big believer in second chances.

“He’s just got this killer instinct,” Sheedy said on Sports Today with Matt Granland and Kevin Bartlett.
