LATEST: Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin announces retirement from AFL

Lance Franklin has played his last AFL match.

The Sydney star has reportedly informed his teammates he is retiring at season’s end.

Franklin, who suffered a season-ending calf injury at the weekend, won’t continue his legendary career next year.
