• Three terrorists were shot dead by officers, after using a vehicle and knives to kill seven innocent people and injure dozens more.

• Three Australians were caught up in the ordeal. One has undergone surgery in London, another is on his way home.

• Foreign Minister, Julie Bishop, is attempting to get more information on a third Australian caught-up in the attacks.
